Obtained from bio-renewable raw materials and fully biodegradable and compostable (UN 20200:2006). When used in mixture with PLA and its blend, they allow to obtain stretch films with excellent mechanical properties without loss of transparency. Furthermore, they can be used such as impact strength modifiers, chain extender, nucleating agents, compatibilizer for fillers and other reactive polymers. GLYPLAST® OLAs are internationally patented and in progressing for EU food approval.
